A German Mother: History of the Thermomix

The idea of creating a thermomix first began in Germany, when a mother wanted to make her baby food, but was unable to find a kitchen appliance that was easy to grind the food into pieces small enough for her baby to chew and swallow. She also believed she did not have the great ability to cook.

From this told story, thermomix was later developed in Germany after four generations in 1960. It took more than 120 engineers to create and approve this versatile multi-tasking technological tool, and was tested in more than 25,000 recipes. Since its development, the thermomix has taken over Europe with at least two being sold per minute! Today, it is frequently used in millions of kitchens around the world. With the invention of thermomix, chefs now use the tool to create even better and more divine recipes to cook in a short amount of time.
